Changelogs - September 26th, 2021
[ TeamSpeak ]
- Two new channel groups have been added to the server to facilitate broader channel moderation:
- Channel Muted: This tag will prohibit a user from speaking or sending messages through channel chat.
- Who Can Assign? Channel Admin and Channel Overseer
- Who Is Immune? Server Leadership, TeamSpeak Moderation and Network Executives
- Channel Banned: This tag will prohibit a user from joining a channel (and it's sub-channels) unless they are moved-in.
- Who Can Assign? Infrastructure Supervisors after approval from an application process on the forums.
- Who Can Request? Channel Designees or Channel Commanders
- Who Is Immune? Server Leadership, TeamSpeak Moderation and Network Executives
A Channel Designee is a person for whom the channel was created for (i.e. Network Executive and Server Leadership channels). A Channel Commander is a person who has specific roleplay authority within a channel designated for roleplay communications.
To request that a TeamSpeak user is banned from a specific channel, please submit the form titled "TeamSpeak Channel Ban Request", which will be made available on the forums within the next day or so. This form is reviewed by the Infrastructure Supervisors in consultation with Server Leadership (if applicable). A user who has been Channel Banned from a personal channel (i.e. Server Leadership and Executive Channels) will not be afforded an official appeals process on the forums. A user who wishes to appeal a ban from a personal channel must contact the Channel Designee directly to appeal the ban. A user who has been Channel Banned from a roleplay channel will not be afforded an official appeals process on the forums. A user who wishes to appeal a ban from a roleplay channel must contact the Division Leader, who has authority over the specified roleplay channel, directly to appeal the ban.
EDIT: You can submit a request for a Channel Ban by

official TeamSpeak rules have been updated to accommodate these implementations.
