The final newsletter of the year! Look how far we've come!
Updates:
Military RP:
The map update has seen even more progress over the month of November and grows closer to completion. The most recent update can be found here.
City RP:
The server management, executives, and our developers have been working endlessly to better your experience on our servers. This update includes job changes and bug fixes, and is expected to be available to the public fairly shortly.
Announcements:
Community Director:
As mentioned in the global meeting this past Friday as well as in the meetings the week prior, the Community Director position has been officially unveiled. Our Community Director Dirt's introduction of the role and its goals can be found here.
With the addition of this Director position, we have begun the first of many events for the community. Information regarding this has been posted here.
Infrastructure Department:
With English Tea as the new Director of Infrastructure, many changes are coming about within our Forums and TeamSpeak. The full list of planned changes within the Infrastructure Department can be found here.
Affairs Department:
The Affairs Department as a whole is doing quite well at this time. More specifically in Recruitment, there may be changes coming soon regarding the state of Recruitment for Moderators. Make sure you are looking out for that coming soon. Mentor is doing alright at this time, however there will be some changes to the entirety of the system along with the way the mentors will interact with their mentees both within the Affairs Discord and out of it as well. Specifically within the Clone Wars team, numbers are slightly lacking and any Senior Moderator+ that has yet to join the team, would be greatly appreciated if they did so. Likewise within the coming days, there will be many changes coming to the Affairs Discord. We will be looking to both simplify it and make it easier to use as a whole. When those changes are released, we will have an outline of them in the discord.
Liaison Department:
Very large changes have yet to come and a select few have already been made. The team known as Staff Relations, due to feedback from the community among other things, has been hereby discontinued. The Public Relations team has received much needed adjustments and has now become known as Client Services. This team will be responsible for the collection and distribution of information within the community. Client Services team members will have access to a vast amount of information regarding all servers and departments and will be tasked with assisting the community with any type of questions or issues that they may have. Similarly, they will be frequenting all servers and platforms for the purpose of joining with the community and documenting helpful information to aid other players on our servers. To accompany the needs of our community members, the team has also increase in size. With the addition of 7 member slots, we are looking for people from every server to help in the creation of a mass stockpile of helpful information. We require players that are well versed in their servers and have the ability to answer questions calmly and professionally.
Closing Statements:
With the addition of two new Directors as well as an entirely new Director position, many changes can be expected in the near future. We as the Executive Team have made it our top priority to appeal to the community and create new content that will be enjoyable for everyone involved.
