Military Map Development Thread [UPDATED 11/30/19]

@Lain The new map will have all required buildings in both bases. Including Kill houses. These will be entirely different to the ones on the server at the moment.
 
I am so hyped but I am worried that the community will have bad feelings about it and complain so much that they revert the map. Good job man I look forward to this!
 
Will you be adding anything like Highlands had? This means a HC room with a physical door and meeting tables, Command center, offices outside of barracks, Better jail cells. Or are you guys going to be reusing assets from mrp_day so that it is very similar?
 
We've made great progress on the map. We've had many projects that needed done in the short term that took priority, but we're back on track!

These screenshots are a couple of weeks old, and the structure of the map is about 70% done. In areas that are more finished we've started texturing and decorating them.

Holy shit looks amazing
 
If all the buildings were accessible that would be cool and if some of the buildings would've been actually equipped with a small amount of furniture and decorations so it could look pretty and it wouldn't cause any lags but still it all looks great on the pictures

The problem with having all the buildings enterable is the strain it will cause on the limitations set in place by Hammer. Ironically, the more detail we add to the map, the limits become more restrictive and will prevent us from doing further additions. We are trying to find a balance in between the two which ensures good detail along with good performance. :) @Vector
 
Not all of the buildings can be accessible but most of them like the small buildings and the half of a two story building like you can get inside the second story using a ladder or a plank you know what I mean
