ROR
We have discussed RoR with the staff teams over the past few weeks, and have decided moving forward we will be removing RoR for Garry's Mod, this will improve staff retention, as well as encourage people to recruit who ACTUALLY want to be in the team, rather then them viewing it as a mundane task.
If you're currently in the Recruitment team, and want to leave - you'll be required to resign in the Affairs resignation section -> https://forums.icefuse.net/index.php?forums/recruitment.1047/
The recruitment team quota will not change as specified by your Recruitment Manger on your respective server.
Previous Staff
We have also discussed Ex-Staff (who resigned) coming back and getting a rank rather then going back to T-Mod
If you were Mod-Smod - you'll receive Mod, if you were Admin - SL - you'll receive S-Mod, unless otherwise approved by a P.S/D.O.P
This is on a case by case basis, and will be decided upon by the DVL/Server leadership team, as long as you haven't had any major offenses since your resignation (i.e Racism/MassRDM etc) you should be okay to receive a rank.
If you were an ex-staff member that has come back before this change, please contact your HA/SL team to inquire about receiving an appropriate rank.
When applying for staff, and you're an Ex-Staff member, there is a check box which you will be required to click.
Strike Policy
We have also updated the Strike Policy.
With this, please understand that the Trial Moderator period should be a time where they make mistakes, and they mess up, they learn from these mistakes and that helps them become better staff members (Mod+ you guys all went through this term, use this time to help them out, not yell at them and rip them a new one, for making a simple mistake)
Trial-Mods are no longer on a 1 strike policy, meaning that previously if a T-Mod got striked, they wouldn't pass their trial period, and would be removed, strikes won't hinder the progression of a T-Mod in the staff team.
