Hello everyone.
Some changes will be put forth in the Affairs Department, and I am here today to announce those changes.
Simply put, later today the mentor team will be disbanded as an affairs team.
This change comes forward as mentor as of late has become a job of people stalking mentees for quota and multiple people going at these mentees for said quota. The team, we have found serves little to no use within Icefuse and is simply a job that could be slated for Staff members without having an entire team to separate who can and can’t train them.
With this, the training of new T-mods and staff members who have been promoted up the ranks will just be slated as a normal duty for Senior Moderators and above. It will be expected from all within these ranks to take it as a normal duty alongside their in-game staff work.
Alongside this in the Affairs Department, we will be removing the overseer rank for all Teams as a whole, all Affairs Supervisors will now be assigned over a specific team, and it will rotate periodically similar to how Personnel is assigned over specific servers.
This means all affairs supervisors will begin to specialize in all 3 affairs teams from this point forward.
