Icefuse Networks DarkRP
Server Rules

UPDATED: 4/3/2024

General Rules
  • Golden Rule: Use common sense at all times.
  • By playing on the Icefuse Networks DarkRP server, you agree to abide by the Icefuse Networks Terms of Service and Server Rules.
  • Do not assist, encourage, or endorse the rule-breaking of others. Tricking, baiting, facilitating, inciting, or encouraging other players to violate the rules will result in a punishment equal to the offender.
  • Any malicious or illegal activity is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated to any degree.
  • Hacking/cheating, fraud/chargebacks, DDoS attacks, doxxing, advertising other servers/communities, leeching, inciting drama, threats, punishment evasion, or anything related will result in a severe punishment/ban.
  • Exploits/glitches are not to be abused and should be reported to staff.
  • Discrimination is not allowed in or out of character, and any use of racist or discriminatory slurs will result in a 24-hour mute/gag.
  • This is an English-speaking community, so all dialogue on the server must be in English.
  • Do not spam in any way.
  • Do not disrespect or harass anyone out of character (OOC).
  • Do not impersonate other users, official server clans, or staff members.
  • Do not witch-hunt or target anyone with the intent to ruin their experience in any way.
  • Do not attempt to loophole or circumvent the rules in any way.
  • Do not go AFK on a job with limited player slots.
  • Prop/entity abusing (prop spamming, prop surfing, prop killing, prop climbing, prop blocking, etc.) is not allowed.
  • Displaying any pornographic/derogatory images or videos is not allowed.
    • Abuse of this could result in a permanent blacklist from using the Media TV.
      • This blacklist is only appealable through an HA+.
  • Selling your job is not allowed. (Ex. Giving a player money to switch off their job)
  • Leaving/switching jobs to avoid a roleplay/staff situation (raid, mug, kill, arrest, etc.) is not allowed.
  • Do not roleplay, build, kill, arrest, mug, kidnap, complete a hit, etc. in spawn unless the scenario was initiated outside of spawn.
  • Do not roleplay while in a staff situation.
  • Staff members have the final say on all rule interpretations including concepts not explicitly stated in the rules.

Roleplay Guidelines
  • Do not RDM.
    • RDM: Random Deathmatch - The act of randomly killing or attacking a player without a valid roleplay reason.
    • Valid roleplay reasons to kill a player without warning: If a player is shooting at/damaging you, stealing/destroying your property, or raiding/mugging/kidnapping/arresting you.
    • If you want to kill players for entering or being in your base, you must have a visible KOS (kill on sight) sign outside of the entrance to your base.
    • If you want to kill players that are following you or won’t leave your area, you must use /advert to give them three valid warnings (/advert Leave my area or die 1/2/3). After the first two adverts, you must wait 10 seconds to advert the third warning. After the third advert, if they are still in your voice range you can kill them.
    • Once you’re arrested, you’re not allowed to go back and kill the government official that arrested you. Doing so will be considered RDM
  • Do not RDA.
    • RDA: Random Arrest - The act of randomly arresting, batoning, handcuffing, or any attempt to do so to a player without a valid roleplay reason.
    • As government law enforcement, you may only arrest people who are breaking default laws and laws made by the President; so long as the laws comply with server rules.
  • Do not metagame.
    • Metagaming is the act of using information beyond your character’s knowledge and current life to your advantage in character, revenge wanting/warranting/demoting, etc.
    • Being revived is considered a continuation of your character’s current life.
  • Do not scam.
    • Scamming - The act of breaking a verbal or written agreement between players.
    • Example: A gun dealer offers a citizen a shipment of guns for $10,000. The citizen agrees to the deal and gives the gun dealer $10,000, but after the gun dealer is paid he refuses to give the shipment of guns to the citizen and proceeds to keep the money for himself.
  • /Advert Rules:
    • /Advert must be used to initiate valid roleplay scenarios (raids, mugs, kidnappings, warnings, murder, terror, etc.)
    • Adverts should not contain anything racist, discriminatory, or offensive.
    • More than 2 adverts within 30 seconds is considered spam unless you’re warning someone.
    • When using /advert to warn players, you must give 3 warnings while in voice communication range but after two adverts you must wait 10 seconds to advert the third warning.
    • Advert stacking is not allowed (/advert murder/kill/terror/missclick/raid/mug/etc.)
  • Government law enforcement have the right to arrest you if they witness you breaking any laws listed on the laws screen.
  • You may randomly pepper spray players, however, you become KOS if you do this.
  • Prisoners may kill anyone necessary to escape from jail.
  • The president may issue gun licenses using /givelicense while facing a player.
    • The president may charge a minimum of 5,000 and a maximum of 100,000 for a license.
    • Licensed players are exempt from any laws regarding guns.
  • Bodyblocking a doorway or entrance to a base leaves you open to KOS from the owners of said base.

Raiding Rules
  • You may raid as any class unless otherwise specified in the class rules section below.
  • A raid is classified as an assault on a player's base, in any capacity.
  • While you are raiding a base, you may kill anyone within the confines of the base. If raiding is a result of a warrant, you may only arrest everyone within the confines.
  • A raidable is defined as anything that can be used or sold to make money. (Excluding Props, Radios, and Ammo Box)
  • Before initiating a raid, you must do “/advert Raid” outside of the base you’re raiding. This also applies when doing a PD raid.
  • If it is apparent that no valuables are in a base, you can not raid the base.
  • If there is only 1 person basing, the maximum number of raiders is 2. If there are 2-4 players basing, the maximum number of raiders is 4.
  • You cannot steal items vital to fulfilling a job (cash registers, printers, bit-miners, vending machines, etc.), doing so is considered a fail raid. However, you may destroy them.
  • You must wait 10 minutes after finishing a raid on a base to raid that same base again.
  • Government officials do not need to /advert raid.
    • This includes the Undercover Assassin.
  • As a government official, once you die during a raid, you’re not allowed to return back to the raid until 10 minutes have passed.
  • Raids can only last up to 10 minutes, so once the raid timer expires all raiders must leave the base.
  • If you die while raiding a base, you can not return to that base to continue raiding or to assist other raiders until 10 minutes have passed.
  • If all raiders die, the raid is over and the 10-minute cooldown begins before you can raid that same base again.
  • Megabase raids can last up to 30 minutes and have a cooldown of 20 minutes. Once a raid has reached the time limit, it is over and the raiders must leave the base.
  • If you are killed during a raid on a base you are defending, you may not return for 3 minutes.
    • This does not apply to defending the PD.
  • No building or locking doors is allowed during a raid.
    • You may not close garage doors during a raid.

Clan Rules
  • All clans must be registered and approved by the Server Leadership team. To register a clan, please look on our DarkRP discord.
  • Clans are not allowed to have “raid lists” targeting specific players or clans in any way.
  • Clans must not create a harmful environment for other players.
  • If one member in your clan raids someone, the entire clan must wait the cooldown.
  • Clans may not use hostile tactics to recruit new members (harassing members into joining).
  • Clans must have their initials in their name and may not change names to circumvent other rules.
  • Staff may be in clans but must adhere to the guidelines in the staff handbook.
  • Members of the same clan may defend each other from attacks/arrests.
  • You may only be in one clan at any time.
  • If a clan is blacklisted, it, or its leadership may not re-apply for clan benefits unless the decision is appealed through the Division Leader or above.
  • Staff may enforce the removal of a blacklisted clans tag from all player’s names if deemed necessary by the Division Leader or above.
