CWRP Changelogs: 03/08/2019

Commander application Changes:
Mace Windu will now become an application based process on the forums.

As will Senate Commando Captain and Captain of RG however those currently in those positions will be able to serve in them until they leave. The templates for these applications will come up on the forums over the coming days and they will have 2 month term limits. People will also be updated about the requirements for these positions over the coming days.
HA's can no longer apply for RC Squad Lead spots unless they meet the requirements.
Senators will also have 50 hour requirements which will match up with those of commanders.

General rule changes and adaptions:


Alongside these changes to commander applications we have also updated several rules that were outdated.
A) The Vice Chairman now only has the authority of the chancellor if these permissions are granted by the chancellor himself.
B) Intentional RDM in the CR room is now punishable with a 3 day ban for NITRP
C) TRI's only may bail out CR's and only for the reason of retraining said CR's.
D) Saber throwing event jobs if now FailRP and you will be arrested for it.
E) You are now permitted to be on top of ATC however you must have a valid reason.(Has been a rule for a while however it wasn't added to the forums)
F) The minimum rank in the clone sector that you salute to has now been changed to 1SG+
G) Edited rules regarding who RC report to. RC will no longer follow the orders of senators if a REG+ has give other orders.
H) Clones and Jedi are now permitted to receive PTL to go to Korriban. The Sith Temple is still off limits and you are not allowed in there unless for the purpose of Jedi Trials.
I) Jedi no longer need PTL to go to planets (Aside from Korriban) in accordance with them being able to move freely to Kashyyyk ETC.

J) Rules regarding RC and cloaking have been changed to match those set out by GMM's(Event jobs must uncloak when near those who can see them).
And finally rules regarding IR have been changed however you can now find them outside the IR room themselves as well as the forums rule sections.
K) Applicable commanders may now claim sim rooms for themselves as well. E.g "I claim sim room 3".

Clone Sector
- OAEs have become optional and is completely up to the commander of the battalion if they wish to use it.
- Baton abuse rule has been implemented, hitting anyone with the baton with no proper intent to arrest once or more is considered baton abuse and falls under FailRP which is a jailable offense.
- All promo cooldowns are chosen by the commanders and MUST be within reason. Minimum cooldowns for every battalion:-
Enlisted (Up to Commanders)
Jr. NCO (2 days)
Sr. NCO(4 days) --
Jr Off (1 week)
Sr. Off (2 weeks)
- The Marshal Commander is now the only individual allowed to decide and give approvals to Senior Commanders to decide on new MoH recipients.


Jedi
- Eeth Koth now works with Base Ops as their Jedi and works closely with the Admiral and the rest of the Base Ops hierarchy.
- Jocasta Nu now works with the Senate in diplomatic affairs and whatnot. Works closely with Mas Amedda and the Senate.


Base Ops
- Republic Intelligence has been changed to the Republic Star Fighter Corps and is now completely in charge of the pilot program.
- Eeth Koth of the Jedi now works with Base Ops.


Senate
- Jocasta Nu now works with the senate with the Diplomats and Ambassadors.
- Ambassadors have been implemented, they are advanced Diplomats and involve themselves more with the Senate.

Added:
SGT + PTS (2 Only) Cannot be changed
Officer +, ARC, RC and Lore characters can only come to the stand for promotions.

Spec Ops and ARC may leave the base without PTL.

Added:

Before leaving the base, all troopers under the rank of Major must ask PTL (permission to leave). A group of 3 or more is required to be granted permission, and you must specify why you are leaving. This applies to both the main gate and planetary travel.
a. MAJ+ may leave without asking for permission, this does not include taking other troopers with them. However, if they wish to take other troopers with them they must follow normal PTL rules
b. Must be SGT+ to successfully be granted permission. (does not apply to all members of the group)
c. Base Ops, Shock Troopers, and Commander+ are the only ones allowed to give PTE and PTL.
d. Black Ops members may leave freely with 1 accompanying member of Black Ops


Added:

Shield bashing is allowed on event characters. (Applies to ST, Doom's Unit and their CoC)


Reworked:

Cannot "strip weapons and comms" of an event job UNLESS, the person target surrenders or the target is surrounded on all fours. If the target happens to be surrounded, you may not strip if they are firing/have their weapon ignited. One of the four individuals attempting to "strip weapons and comms" must roll above a 50. If you fail to out-roll the target three times, then you may not roll again and the action is a complete fail. If the target had surrendered, you do not need to roll and only use the bind.

Interrogation rules:
a. Clone High Command, Jedi Generals, and Shock Troopers have full authority over the interrogation room.
b. Black Ops have full authority in the Interrogation room and interrogations if the enemy is not force-sensitive.

Staff
- Staff requirement level has been reduced to
level 15.
- SMOD+ are only allowed to use the /jail command when there are no ST/TGs on or active. (25 minutes only)

Clones
- The rank required to apply for commander of any battalion/squad has been
reverted back to CPT+.
- SMB+ is now able to claim SSR.
- Debrief has been slightly reverted back, it is now back to SMB+ (1 per battalion) can go up on stage and stand behind the HC, on the back wall. This being said you must be the highest in your battalion on, to go on stage and stand there, and only one from each battalion is allowed to do so.
- 50 hours activity requirement for all commanders
have been removed.

Medals
- New medal added for clones: MoR.

Given out to the best of the best and is even beyond what it takes to get MoH. Only one MoR is given out per Marshal Commander term.
- New medal added for the Senate: SSM
Given out to any SC/RG or Senator for exceptionally meritorious contribution. Only 2 SSMs are given out every 2 months across Mas Amedda and Palpatine. Can be stripped of SSM at anytime for misconduct.
- New medal added for the Senate: CsM
Given out to Chancellors who have served at least a term. Can be removed upon the discretion of DVL+ if found used in misconduct etc.

Senate
- The Vice Chairman is able to
AOS anyone below him.
- The Vice Chairman is allowed to call and host DBs.
- The Vice Chairman is allowed to give out orders to anyone below him within reason.

Server Rules
- ST/TG are also exempt from being arrested themselves if they accidentally kill anyone they're arresting with a baton in accordance to General Server Rule 46.
- ST has full authority to destroy tacs that are placed in the HQ lobby in accordance to FailRP rule 16.
- Throwing smoke grenades, thermal detonators, flashbangs or activating any sort of explosive around the base for no reason accidentally or not will result in an immediate arrest. (Throwing these said grenades and explosives in simulations and in events with proper reason are allowed).
- Redguard, Senate Commandos and Honor Guards have the right to warn and/or threat anyone that are directly harming or threatening their protectee.

- New tryout binds rules:-

  • Tryout binds are only allowed to be posted by the highest ranking active member online at the time, SGT+ can still do tryouts as normal. Failure to follow this rule will result in an arrest for "Misuse of Comms".
  • Tryout binds must only include 1 message and cannot be sent more than once at a time (i.e. no spam). Failure to follow this rule will result in an arrest for "Misuse of Comms".
  • Any sort of tryout adverts that are called during events is now considered failRP i.e. an arrestable offence.
  • Any action that involves running away or fleeing from being escorted is considered FailRP.

Jedi Order
- Customizable saber sounds through other means are now only limited to Jedi High Command (Shaak Ti+) and the CPT of the RG. Anyone found with customizable saber sounds that isn't within the appropriate rank will be demoted to youngling.
- Honor Guards are allowed to warn and/or threat anyone that are directly harming or threatening their protectee.
- Council members can now change their name to *insert battalion* General *insert name*.

Clones
- Process of identification has changed completely, clones would show their clone ID on their wrist (CC/CT/AARC/ARC/RC-*clone numbers) and Jedi would show normal identification.
- ARC, CO and Black Ops have to do comms in that they are rappelling down from the 3rd or 2nd floor to drop down. Failure to do so will result in an arrest for failRP. 2ndAC is exempt from the rappelling rule.

- New PTL rules and exceptions:-

  • Recon and Black Ops are allowed to leave the base without PTL.
  • Everyone below Regimental Commander (CMD and below) will have to ask for PTL.
  • Republic Ops and Shock Troopers are the only ones allowed to give PTE and PTL.
  • All executions must be handled in the Black Ops Site. Covert Ops and Black Ops have the right to AOS for trespassing if someone without the correct clearance tries to gain entry to the location.

    - The Reserves System:-
  • A new system has been put in place called "reserves" which are individuals that are allowed to hold a rank but have no actual power or stature within the battalion.
  • The reserves system has been put in place to ensure that certain individuals are not staying in positions for an overtly long period of time and to provide individuals that are forced to go off for a long period of time some compensation.
  • Anyone that wishes to be off the reserves in a battalion will receive a 3 rank demotion (unless overriden by a Senior Commander+) and is allowed to be promoted back to their original rank at the time of being drafted into the reserves at the discretion of the Battalion Commander.
  • There are no reserves in Black Ops.

    - New rank transfer regulations:-
  • Rank transfers from 2ndLT+ is a 3 rank demotion. (e.g. CPT rank transfers to a battalion and goes down to SMB)
  • Rank transfers from CSM - SMB is a 2 rank demotion. (e.g. SMB rank transfers to a battalion and goes down to SGM)
  • Rank transfers from SGM is a 1 rank demotion. (e.g. SGM rank transfers to a battalion and goes down to 1SG)
  • Rank transfers from 1SG and below is a full rank transfer.

    - New honorary policies:-
  • There can only be 5 honoraries per battalion.
  • Can only receive H CPT+ as ranks.
  • Cash in honorary at any time and receive a 3 rank demotion (according to the new rank transfer policies).
  • Only CPT+ can receive honorary ranks
- The rank First Lieutenant (1stLT) has been updated to Lieutenant (LT).

Republic Ops
- Changed from Base Operations to Republic Operations.
- New rank structure:-

  • Admiral = Marshal Commander
  • Vice Admiral = Senior Commander
  • Rear Admiral = Regimental Commander
  • Commodore = Commander
  • Captain = Colonel
  • Commander = Major
  • Lieutenant Junior Grade = Lieutenant

- Any adverts or comms do not require any form of typing out any secured comms (secure, s, -s- etc.) as all comms are automatically secured.
- New bunk/building prop limits:-

  • Each bunk can have up to 15 props. This includes text screens.
  • Shock Troopers have 15 in debrief area.
  • Each high command bunks may have 10 props. Jedi may have 15 props per area.
  • IR can have up to 10 props.
  • The Medical bay can have 30 props. Armoury can have up to 20 props. Engineering Bay may have up to 15 props.
  • Palpatine's Office may have 20 props and Senate Quarters may have 15.
- Updated all terms and locations from the old server rules to fit the new map (removed DB elevator rules, replaced garrison with Republic HQ etc.)

Senate
- Senators and Senate Commando's are allowed to observe interrogations outside in the viewing room and have no say or involvement in any interrogation.

Server Rules

- Anyone that drives a vehicle that passes through anything that's no collided or not solid (e.g. the main gate of the base) can be arrested for FailRP.

- FearRP rules have been added:-

1. You are supposed to act like you only have one life at any time, do not uselessly throw away your life.

2. If you are clearly outnumbered, you are not allowed to take hostile action

a. Being outnumbered by droids is exempt unless the droid asks you to surrender specifically.

3. FearRP applies to both players and event jobs.

4. Breaking of FearRP is classed as FailRP and can result in an arrest.

The following jobs do not fall under FearRP:

Black Ops

5. FearRP does not apply if you're the escort of a VIP (e.g. Senate Commandos escorting a Senator)

a. If the VIP tells you to stand down you must obey and from then on will fall under FearRP.

- Having unnecessary name extensions (e.g. Shock Trooper Battalion Commander Fox instead of ST Battalion Commander Fox/ST BCMD Fox) through the use of certain staff commands will result in an arrest for FailRP.

- Base alarm only to be hit at BC3.

- SC/RG may also KOS any individual without clearance who enters the Republic HQ. (ST/TG/SC/RG/RO/High Command are all allowed within this room)

- Granting an RAOS without fully knowing and understanding the situation surrounding the RAOS will result in an arrest for FailRP.

Clones

- Hostage situations can only last for 30 minutes before any other action is taken after that.

- ARC, CO and Black Ops have to comms in that they are rappelling down from the 3rd or 2nd floor to drop down. Failure to do so will result in an arrest for failRP. 2nd Airborne Company and all Jet Troopers are exempt from the rappelling rule.

- ARF Program has been implemented and will be hosted and managed by the 91st and 41st.

- All clone names must now only be limited to 2 specialties (e.g. 501st TECH ARC PVT Mephisto).

- Having unnecessary specialties such as battalion branches i.e. HVY, MED, SS etc. in your name is not needed and if your name is found breaching these rules, it will result in an arrest for failRP.

- Global blacklist policies have been removed.

Jedi Order

- Diplomats have a hand in HRU operations along 104th WP.

- Jedi Sages can sit on non force user interrogations and can tap into the users mind and help when needed.

Senate

- Jedi Ambassadors are allowed to enter RHQ freely. Senate Jedi must be accompanied by a Senator.
- Red Guard is no longer selecting people from the Senate Commandos and are now going back to a tryout system.

They will not require an escort unless ordered by Admiral Yularen, Vice Chairman or the Supreme Chancellor himself.


Global Jedi Sector Rules:

Jedi Sector Rule 37 has been updated to: Diplomats have priority in negotiations if the hostage takers are Sith or Hostile force wielders.

Server Rules:


Prop Limits And Whitelist

8. Black Ops Site, Recon FOB and Kashyyyk FOB prop limit has increased to 25.

Bunk Checks has been changed to Contraband Checks and its rules

1. Only a MAJ+ of Shock Troopers is allowed to enforce a contraband check.
2. In order to enact a contraband check, Shock Troopers must have permission from the highest Officer in the battalion they are checking at the time.
3. Once permission is granted for a contraband check, Shock Troopers have full authority over that branch and their players even if higher in rank.
4. A contraband check can last no longer than 20 minutes.
5. Shock Troopers are only allowed to detain/fine players if they are caught with contraband. (Max fine 100 credits)
6. During the contraband check, the host of the check can institute any rules during the bunk check time as long as it falls within the rules. Anyone caught breaking the rules set by Shock Troopers may be arrested for FailRP.
7. The only ones allowed to cancel any ongoing or future bunk checks are any Regimental + from the Clone Sector.


CWRP Hierarchy and Special Privileges:

Republic Ops

Republic Ops always have priority in Granting PTE/PTLs as well as Take Off/Landings, only when no Republic Ops are active can ST/REG+.
Republic Ops have priority in hosting Bunk Inspections, ST/REG+ must have a RO with them to host.
