General Rules
Follow our general server rules and ALWAYS use common sense.

Golden Rules: Always use common sense and don’t be a minge.

  • Prop abusing and/or prop minging (prop surfing, prop killing, prop climbing, prop blocking, etc) is not allowed.
  • No-colliding and/or placing cameras/props into another player’s base is not allowed.
  • Do not advertise other servers and/or communities.
  • Racial Slurs/Discrimination are NOT allowed in Out of Character Chat.
  • Spamming in any form is not allowed.
  • Impersonation of any kind is not allowed.
  • Use common sense when setting prices for items, staff members have the final say on whether or not an item is too expensive.
  • Encouraging others to break/violate any rules will result in greater punishment.
  • Spawn is defined as behind the yellow barriers all the way into the nexus building, this does not include the elevator or parking garage. Spawn in a Non-RP zone. However, If RP is initiated outside of spawn (getting chased by police or hitman ect.) and a person runs into spawn the RP situation may continue.
  • When holding someone hostage you may only charge a maximum of 10k and have a 10 minute timer before you can take another hostage.
  • Randomly pepper spraying players leaves you open to be KOS’d
  • Civilians are arrest on sight If they are In any other parts of the city bank other than the lobby. (Bank tellers and guards are exempt).
  • Scamming is not allowed.
    • Scamming is defined by breaking a verbal or written agreement between players.
  • Clans may not ally with other clans. This includes any forms of non-aggression pacts.
  • Clans must not create a harmful environment for other players.
  • Clans may not use hostile tactics to recruit new members; Like targeting someone till they join the clan to avoid being targeted.
  • Clans must have their initials in their name and may not change names to circumvent other rules.
    For example; No clans in Government.
  • In order to KOS a police officer arresting someone, you MUST be in the same clan, or currently basing together(names on doors)
  • Clans cannot defend multiple bases
Advert Rules
  • Advert is only used for RP reasons only. [Adverting your gunshop or you have someone as Hostage or to advert ]
The following rules, if broken, will often lead to a permanent ban or generally, a harsh punishment:
  • Any intent to harm and/or threats towards other players in the community.
  • Knowingly exploiting unintentional game mechanics and/or hiding their existence.
  • Evading punishments or assisting others with evading punishments.
  • Bending of the rules and/or attempts to find and/or abuse loophols within the rules.
  • Purposely focusing players to ruin there Roleplay experience (Mugging same person over and over...etc) is not allowed
  • Negatively affecting the roleplay experience of a player (Minging, trolling players to the point of where they leave) is bannable
  • Accepting Hits over and over again on the same person [You can only Accept a hit on the same person every 5 minutes]Excessive use of Racial Slurs or harassing messages [Applies to all text channels (ooc,advert,pm,911…) and Voice chat as well, Any staff member may deem anything excessive and different staff members will have different opinions] *
  • Selling your Job is not allowed under any circumstance. if caught a harsh Punishment will be given. You are supposed to take a job and play it instead of searching for a quick revenue.
  • Spawning in Props or Entities in the sit room or admin jail is bannable.

RDM, NLR, RDA
RDM
  • Before killing someone, you must have a reasonable reason:
    • EX: An officer is walking around town and he sees a thief with a gun out, he approaches the thief and shoots him on sight without any attempt to arrest, this is a case of RDM.
  • Using Entities to kill players with a vehicle is still considered RDM.

RDA
  • Random Arrest, when someone arrests you without a valid reason.
    • EX: Breaking a law such as owning guns without a gun license, etc

NLR
NLR means once you die you may not return nor interact with anything or anyone from that situation.

  • An example of breaking NLR would be to get killed during a raid and returning to that same area.
  • This also includes any form of revenge killing, warranting, arresting, wanting and or demoting.
  • The NLR rule applies for a total of 3 minutes.
  • The NLR rule applies for a total of 5 minutes when defending against a raid.
  • The NLR rule Applies to Government Officials for a total of 1 minute in the main city

Raiding
[*]If it is apparent that no valuables are in a base, you cannot raid the base.

[*]Raids must be initiated outside of a base schematic.

[*]You cannot Use C4 to Raid a base (Unless you are a Terrorist or T-Leader)

[*]You cannot steal items that are critical for someone to fulfill their job, they may be destroyed, however.

  • These items don’t include Money printers/bitminers.
  • Once the raid is over you must leave the base, you cannot raid the same base until 10-minutes have passed.*
  • When you die while defending your base you cannot come back before 5 MINUTES PASS *
  • Raids can only last up to 10 minutes, once a raid has reached this time limit, it is over and the raider(s) must leave.
  • Hitmen are allowed to raid, however, only to kill their intended target.
  • You may raid the PD/do a PD take over in an attempt to kill the President or to break out a member of your organization. Your not allowed to follow and kill government officials. You must stay inside or in front of the doors at PD.
    • The PD may only be raided/taken over once every 10 minutes.
    • There must be 2+ Government Officials online to PD Raid.
  • You cannot Block cameras with Props while raiding *
  • If you raid a store and purchase items and leave them on the ground and die before you can open your package, the owner(s) of the base may keep them inside and sell them back to the player or keep them.
  • Counter Raiding Rules:
    • A counter raid is a raid on a base that is already being raided by others. During a counter raid you must follow all of the raiding rules. Counter raiding just to kill the player(s) who initiated the first raid is considered RDM for each person you kill.
    • When Counter Raiding you must make every attempt to steal/destroy all of the raidables.
Mug, Kidnap, Pickpocketing
Max Mug: $25,000
  • You must give the victim 10 seconds to respond
    • You may kill them if they try to shoot you, run away, or do not comply with your demands.
    • You Must /advert or /y Before mugging someone
    • You may not mug more than 1 person every 5 minutes
You may charge a ransom for a victim's release

  • Max Ransom: $20,000
  • You may only hold someone for up to 15-minutes
    • If it reaches the max kidnap time, and no one has paid the ransom, you must let them go
You may only pickpocket people that are NOT in spawn

  • Players caught pickpocketing in spawn will be punished accordingly
  • You may not pickpocket someone who is noticeably AFK.
Basing/Building
  • You may only base in 1 structure
  • There are only 1-4 people allowed per base which isn’t a megabase.
  • In order to defend/base in a base, your name must be on the front door
  • You may have a maximum of 4 fading doors per base
    • Fading windows do not apply to the maximum count of fading doors.
    • You may NOT no-collide one way to give you an advantage in shooting (ex:Walking through one way to shoot and go back)
    • World Glow/glow color effect is NOT allowed at all
  • You may Honeycomb a door that is not the main entrance, but it can not be double stacked and the player has to be able to stand inside of it.
  • Forcing someone to jump or crouch in any way or is PROHIBITED
  • You may NOT stack props together to prevent/disallow blowtorching on your base
  • One way props that allow players to see one way and not the other is allowed for shooting holes and viewing holes.
  • Every fading door must have a corresponding button/keypad visible from and next to the door it operates
    • Maximum of 2 buttons OR keypads per fading door
    • No fake keypads
    • You are NOT allowed to attempt to hide or conceal any keypads or buttons
    • Keypads must have a hold length of 5 seconds for fading doors
    • Keypads may not have an initial delay
    • Keypads that are only reachable by Crouching are not allowed *
  • No floating bases
    • All bases must be supported from the ground to the bottom of the base or attached to a building that is grounded.
  • You may only build in your base
  • When purchasing the entirety of a hotel/apartment, you must own all the doors, and have entities in that building.
  • Fading-door abuse is prohibited
  • You are not allowed to build during an active raid on your base, you must wait for the raid to be called over.
  • You may not build in a connecting tunnel that allows players to move from area to area.
  • ONLY bankers may build inside the bank area.
  • Creating a prop base in public (outside a property, street, sidewalk) is not allowed (If you are a hobo read the Hobo Job rules Below)
  • If all doors of a base are unowned but there is an obvious base built with printers you cannot ask for the base to be removed and for you to take over it.
  • No invisible Props at all.*
  • You’re allowed to make cosmetic changes to your building outside of your structure as an attraction to merchant bases.
  • Merchants can have small shacks (Up to 1 shelf) on the sidewalk.
  • Sheriff/Swat Chief can build checkpoints leaving city and at PD. Sheriff/Swat Chief/President are the only ones allowed to build on the second floor in PD and not on the main floor
  • You may not have a base design that conceals or steals purchased items.
  • Players that are building may place a “building/under construction” sign
    • To have this sign, you must not have any sort of items and/or entities within your base such as shipments, printers, cash registers, food, weapons, etc.
    • Typical base rules firmly apply when the base has valuables.
  • You must be actively building a base and once you are finished, you must remove the building sign.
  • Text screens must be a minimum size of 50
  • You are not allowed to blend your text screen into the background of the building. Do not change the opacity of the text screen either.
  • When putting a KOS sign you must be specific and may not put "KOS if needed, KOS for anything and etc"
  • You are not allowed to have a building sign with a KOS sign
  • Blackout bases
    Bases that are seamless, and no sense of direction
  • Hit-box abusing
    • Bases designed to exploit the hitbox system to gain an advantage over players
  • Obstacle bases
    • Bases that require you to jump/crouch
    • Mazes
  • Drop/pit bases
    Bases designed to trap players upon attempting to raid
  • Killboxes
    • Bases designed where you can shoot them, and they can’t shoot back.
Inherits all rules from General base rules with exceptions as listed below.

  • Must have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 active players to create the base.
  • Maximum of 4 fading doors at the entrance, and 1 per additional building/base inside the megabase
  • Maximum of 4 keypads at the main entrance, then 1 keypad per additional building/base inside the megabase
  • You must own all doors within the sector to section off an area
  • Merchants cannot set up shop inside the confines of the megabase.
Government
Law Blacklist (anything on or similar to this list are prohibited)
  • A law regarding ‘Jaywalking’
  • Any KOS laws are not allowed.
  • Any law allowing for murder, drugs, or obviously illegal activities.
  • Any law relating to one group of people.
  • The lobby of the Police Department may never be AOS. It must be accessible to the public.
    • Any law that supports a biased President (putting orgs above rules, putting aos on an org, etc)
    • Any law that breaks a server rule
    • Any law that hinders roleplay heavily (must always run, cannot jump, etc)
    • Remember, staff have final say. If a staff member asks you to remove a law, remove it. If you feel the said staff member is wrong, you may file a report on the forums, or speak to a CityRP Head Admin+

      Random Arrest, when someone arrests you without a valid reason.
      • EX: Breaking a law such as owning guns without a gun license, etc

Default Laws

  • Do not attack or assault anyone except in self-defense
  • Any weapons larger than a pistol is an illegal firearm, unless you own a gun license. All weapons must be concealed at all times.
  • Do not steal or break into people's homes (RAID/MUGGING/KIDNAPPING/TERRORISM).
  • Money printers/drugs are illegal.
  • Any sort of improper behavior can lead to AOS (shitting in public, jumping on Police cars, vandalism)
  • Drugs are illegal. (cigarettes, weed and alcohol are not illegal)
  • Recklessly driving is AOS.
Class Rules
Mob Boss & Gangster: Can Raid and Mug


Thief & Thug: Can Raid & Mug


Blackhat Hacker: Can Raid


Hitman: Can only raid to Kill his Target. Arrestable offense as a Hitman to advertise his services to Government Officials.


Kidnapper: Can raid to detain & kidnap their “target”.

Kidnapper/Cultist Members and Leaders must wait 3 minutes in between kidnappings and the max number of people allowed to be kidnapped is 3. ( Same rules applies if you are in a group)


Cultist Leader / Member: Can Mug & Kidnap for sacrificial purpose

Kidnapper/Cultist Members and Leaders must wait 3 minutes in between kidnappings and the max number of people allowed to be kidnapped is 3. ( Same rules applies if you are in a group)


Moonshiner & Opium/Meth cook/Coka Plant Farmer: Cannot Raid & Mug.

May hire a courier to deliver your finished goods so you may keep making more. (Must come to an agreement on their price, if either party does not pay after the agreement it is Scamming (Courier must be a criminal/mercenary)


Ballas & Families: Can Raid (Each Other)

Ballas & Families can KOS each other anywhere.

NLR between both parties is 1 minute.

Clan benefits/affiliations are void when playing as the Ballas or Families.


[T1] Pro Hacker: Can Raid


[T2] Pro Thief: Can Raid & Mug


[T3] Combat Medic: Assists in raids only


[T4] Marauder: Can Raid & Mug


[T4] Dead-Man-Walking

Allowed to kill all the leading Government officials: President, Swat/Police Chiefs

Allowed to raid the shelter/home of any leading Government official for assassination purposes.

Dead Man Walking can only kill the President or any High Ranking Government Official once every 5 Minutes.


[T5] Pro Hitman

Allowed to raid to kill

Arrestable offense as a Hitman to advertise his services to Government Officials.


[T5] Terrorist

  • Can initiate terror attacks only when the Terrorist Leader declares it. Can raid the Police Department or Government Bases.
  • Terrorist Leaders/ISIS Operatives/Terrorist cannot call Solo PD Raids [Required 2+ Members]
  • Allowed to raid/assist in raids
  • Terrorist groups are only allowed to use 2-3 C4 per Terror attack.
  • Terrorist Leaders/Members can make a “secret” Base/HQ out of city limits

[T6] Terrorist Leader

  • Allowed to use their C4 during raids in which you have to use /advert [Terror] to initiate the attack.
  • During their /advert [TERROR] attack, they can place down 1 C4 and they can kill whoever attempts to kill them.
  • A C4 is required to be placed down during a terror attack. You can’t just shoot down other players/government officials. (Shooting people down during a terror attack is considered RDM and is punishable).
  • Terror Attacks May Last Up To A Maximum Of 5 Minutes
  • There is a 5-minute cooldown in between /advert (terror) attacks
  • You may place a C4 on Government Officials without consent during a Terror attack, but if you want to place it on any another role you must have consent beforehand.
  • When initiating a terror attack on a building anyone inside becomes a Hostage, anyone who attempts to leave or be a hero is KOS.
  • During PD raids/PD takeovers you are only allowed to kill people in your general area. (Ex. You start the raid/takeover in PD you cannot leave the building and continue to kill people in another building or down the street). There must be 2+ Government Officials online to PD Raid.
  • Terrorist Leaders/Terrorists can call PD Raids
  • Allowed to raid/assist in raids.
  • Terrorist groups are only allowed to use 2-3 C4 per Terror attack.
  • If someone has a C4 planted on them, they are providing a threat to themselves and the public and therefore KOS

[T6] Serial Killer

  • Serial Killer may only /advert [murder] once every 3 Minutes or players can pay ransom for their lives (max Ransom: $10,000)
  • Able to kill players immediately or abduct players using /advert abduct.

[T5/T6] KKK Leader/Members

  • May kidnap anyone who is non-white skin color. You may sell or kill your captives, you may only hold this person for up to 15 minutes (At this time you must release or kill them).
  • May Base.
  • May use Racial Slurs in RP only, not in adverts or OOC.
  • May build Racially Insensitive buildings provided it relates to RP. Abuse of this rule will lead to a ban.
  • May Kill someone who is not caucasian once every 3 minutes. You must /advert Murder when you kill the player.
  • May raid to kidnap a non-caucasian person, during the raid they may kill anyone inside who interferes with you taking the target, you may also not take or destroy any valuables/raidables YOU ARE ONLY THERE FOR YOUR TARGET.

Note: Merchants cannot Raid or Mug!

Gun Dealer/Black Market Dealer/Cook/Drug Dealer/Doctor

  • You must own a shop or base with at least one shelf with active refills
  • You are allowed to base with other criminals but you must have an accessible shelf for all players
  • You must own the donator tier in order to sell the items of that donator tier (example: T5 Gun Dealer may only sell up to T5 weapons.)
  • You are not allowed to self-supply, you may only arm yourself to protect yourself and your shop [Applies for All Merchant Rules]
  • You cannot intentionally use shelves (All Merchants) in order to prevent blowtorching.
  • You’re allowed to make cosmetic changes to your building outside of your structure as an attraction to your base.
  • Merchants can have small shacks (Up to 1 shelf) on the sidewalk.
  • You must have a clinic/shop for people to come heal up or pay for your services



  • Hobos may build in the middle park in the city and on sidewalks, but it can’t be a big structure. You can not build on any roofs. Ex: Treehouse, Hobo Casino, etc are allowed
  • You are allowed to mic-spam if you are standing still, or running from cops, but not in the range of a base (They can kill you for being annoying)
  • DO NOT prop block streets/tunnels/public areas (parking lots, buildings, spawn, etc.)
  • May only base with fellow hobos or with Streakers
  • May be arrested on-site for Indecent Exposure.
  • May have a KOS sign, however, may only kill individuals attempting to break into their structure.
Mercenary

  • You’re allowed to assist in raids with only the person / people that hired you.
  • Your job is to be hired by either the Government, a private group/agency, etc.
  • You must follow all of the orders from the people that hired you.
  • Your objective is to protect &/or server their path.
  • You may only kill in self-defense or as stated before, in a hired raid.
  • You may base with the group / people that hired you.

Banker

  • You may only base in the bank
  • You are allowed to have money printers LEGALLY
  • People can pay you to keep their money printers safe
  • Bankers must allow bank security to base with them.
  • Bankers must pay their security Min: $10,000 for a one-time payment

Casino Manager

  • All Machines must be inside a building.
  • NO PRIVATE CASINOS
  • Both casino machines are required to be available to the public (The only exception is if one casino machine has already been sold)
  • The max price a casino machine can be sold for is 35% of the total jackpot.
  • The machine has to stay inside of the casino
  • You cannot buy your own machine or a machine from another casino manager
  • Only one casino machine may be sold and the other has to be available to the public
  • You are not allowed to charge an entry fee of any kind or any other variation i.e charging per minute/second/hour etc. However, you may charge up to 50k per jackpot ONLY for the machines you have sold.

Tow Truck Driver

  • May NOT tow government vehicles or place fines on them when they’re being used for government action, or parked in front of PD.
  • May NOT tow vehicles that are legally parked.
  • When you have brought the illegally parked vehicle back to your impound you must let the driver of the vehicle know you have it, where to get it, and how much to get it back.
  • Max amount you can charge for a vehicle is 5k.
  • You may not charge a person for their vehicle back if you have fined it.
  • You may not tow a vehicle with a player inside, you must give a warning before taking any other action.
  • If a player refuses to get out of an illegally parked vehicle you may call the police with /911 to have them removed.

Bus Driver

  • May use your bus to transport people around the map.
  • Bus drivers can build minimal bus stops in non-disruptive areas in order to pursue roleplay.
  • You may charge a fee for each person, maximum $1,500
  • You are not allowed to purposely use the bus to minge.
Meat Head & Body Builder

  • Meat Heads & Body Builders can KOS each other anywhere.
  • NLR between both parties is 1 minute.
